Who can apply for working holiday visas?
British Citizens can obtain a working holiday visa between the ages of 18-30.
How long is the visa for ?
Australia issues one year working holiday visas and a 2nd year visa on completion of 3 months farm work. You do not need a stamp in your passport prior to travel , as this will be done on arrival. However you do need an acceptance and confirmation of your successful visa application, and will need to prove you have funds equivalent to $5000.00, which is on average £3000.00.
Tips and Advice
In the lead up to Christmas Australia has an influx of visa requests so processing time for visas can take longer. Get organised and secure your visa before booking any flights! Furthermore do not take any fresh food with you from home or when getting off the plane. Australia have very strict Agriculture rules and ignoring their rules could leave you with a slap on the wrist and a $200 fine.

Working holiday visas are granted for 1 year , but if you are not quite ready for a year, you can obtain a Non-work visa on arrival for free which covers you for a 90 day period.
Tips and Advice;
90 days on a non-working holiday may seem like a lot, but Japan is such a vast place , booming with culture ,that you may very well feel that 90 days is simply not enough. Contrary to beliefs, Japan is not an incredibly expensive country and ranges from low end prices to super steep prices for business professionals.
